Scott is a Founder and Managing Partner of CommonView Capital and has been a private equity investor, operating executive and M&A attorney for over 25 years.  Scott has also been a Partner at Saw Mill Capital LLC, a middle market private equity firm, since 1998. Scott sits on the Board of Directors of NetShape Technologies (precision metal parts), and has served on the Board of Directors of Terra Renewal (environmental services), Clyde Bergemann (boiler cleaning equipment), and Jason Inc. (industrial growth conglomerate).

Prior to founding CommonView Capital and joining Saw Mill Capital, Scott was the Vice-Chairman, President and Chief Operating Officer of Fulcrum Direct, Inc., a $70 million private equity backed company which grew revenues by more than 700% during Scott’s involvement. Before joining Fulcrum, Scott was Vice President and Group Counsel for Sunbeam-Oster, where he was responsible for strategic acquisitions for Sunbeam's $700 million Household Products division, and Group Counsel. Scott began his career as a corporate attorney at Shearman & Sterling in New York and Paris, France, where he specialized in mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate restructurings in the United States, Europe and Russia.

Scott earned a JD in 1989 from the Boston University School of Law, and a BSBA in Finance & Accounting, with a minor in computer science, in 1986 from Washington University in St. Louis.

Scott is a member of the Alumni Board of Governors at Washington University, sits on the Board of Directors of the Association for Corporate Growth (New York), where he is Co-chair of the Private Equity Advisory Committee.

Scott is married and has three children. To “relax” Scott enjoys “extreme” skiing and world travel.

Tom is a Founder and Managing Partner of CommonView Capital and has been a private equity investor for over 25 years.

 

Prior to founding CommonView Capital, Tom was a Partner at Behrman Capital from 2002 to 2014 where he specialized in investments in health care. Tom was a Director on the Boards of WIL Research (provider of preclinical CRO services supporting clients in the pharmaceutical sector), Ark Holdings (provider of post-acute care services in over 50 facilities headquartered in Memphis) and Atherotech (provider of clinical diagnostic laboratory services in the cardiovascular arena). Tom was also a director of Woodcraft Holdings (leading manufacturer of hardwood doors for the kitchen cabinet industry).

 

Prior to joining Behrman, Tom was a Vice President at Desai Capital from 1995 to 2002 where he led investments in the telecommunications sector (Triton PCS & Telecorp PCS - AT&T Wireless affiliates covering 20+ million pops in the southeastern U.S.) and financial services sector (Lender's Service - provider of appraisal, title and closing services to mortgage lenders on a national basis headquartered in Pittsburgh). Tom began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Goldman Sachs.

 

Tom earned an MBA in 1989 from the Harvard Business School, and a BA in Economics in 1985 from Princeton University.

 

Tom is married with three children. In his spare time, Tom likes to run marathons (NYC Marathons in 1993 and 2006), hike and play the piano.

Barclay joined CommonView Capital in 2015 after earning his MBA from the Wharton School of Business. Before CommonView, Barclay was an M&A investment banker in New York with Bank of America Merrill Lynch and in Mexico City with Pablo Rion y Asociados. Prior to investment banking, Barclay worked as a consultant at FTI Consulting where he focused on interim management and turnaround situations. He has experience in a wide range of industries, including petrochemical, telecommunications, industrial manufacturing and healthcare. 

 

Barclay earned an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business, an M.A. in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania, and a B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University.

 

In his free time, Barclay enjoys adventure traveling, and has traveled to 50+ countries and seven continents, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, cycled from Spain to Switzerland, and is certified to captain mono and multihull sailing vessels up to 50 feet. He also serves as a board member of Outward Bound – Mexico.

Andrew, an Operating Partner, is an experienced healthcare clinical services company investor and executive.  Andrew has spent his career overseeing the strategic, operational and financial needs of private and publicly held companies, from start-up to mature enterprises in retail, manufacturing, distribution and healthcare.  He has served in every C-suite position as well as a consultant to operating company management, lenders and investors. 

 

Prior to joining CommonView Capital, Andrew directed the rollout of two healthcare clinical services companies: He was the founding CEO of Resolute Anesthesia and Pain Solutions, a national anesthesia and pain management company that provides anesthesia services and treats chronic pain patients in pain centers, ASCs and hospitals (recently acquired by Sheridan/Amsurg); and the CEO of The Center for Wound Healing (now known as RestorixHealth), a national outpatient wound care company.  His efforts included the implementation of strategies that led to the establishment of true national practices from localized platforms, accomplished through acquisitions and organic growth.  To support this growth, Andrew designed and managed the corporate infrastructure necessary to achieve each company’s goals.  Andrew has created and developed functional areas in accounting, marketing, revenue cycle, clinical operations, M&A, business development, HR and IT, and the processes and systems necessary to service a rapidly-growing organization.  

 

Andrew has travelled extensively in the United States, Europe and Asia on behalf of companies he has managed.

 

Andrew holds a BBA from Emory University and attended the NYU Stern School of Business.  Andrew is married and has two children.  He enjoys ballet, classical music, hiking and being outdoors.
